Overview
This two-day course is intended to provide project managers with essential information in order to self-prepare and successfully pass the Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification Exam offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI®).
FIU is uniquely qualified to support students in their PMP exam preparation. We have a comprehensive suite of project management courses and are approved by PMI as a Registered Education Providers (REP) to train project managers to obtain Professional Development Units (PDU). The REP credential is granted only to organizations that meet stringent criteria for course content, structure and presentation.
The emphasis of the course is to help students anticipate the range of knowledge and information that is tested by the PMP exam. Armed with this background on the exam process and content, students can undertake the exam confidently.
Highlights
In this course, we will help you identify your personal strengths and weaknesses relative to the demands of the PMP exam. We assess your knowledge of the five process groups and nine knowledge areas. This analysis will allow you to focus your training on your specific needs by domain and process area. You will know exactly where to concentrate your study efforts and time in order to master the required materials.
Through lectures, practice exams, and practical exercises, we address the key concepts, terms, and principles covered by the PMP exam. In addition, you will become familiar with the format and makeup of the exam.

Participants
Participants in this course are expected to be thoroughly familiar with the PMBOK and project management methods. This is a test preparation course intended for persons preparing for the PMP exam not those that desire a basic project management course.
