Helping Your Students' Career Development
Our goal is to help students develop the skills they need to effectively manage their career. When students register with our office, in addition to having access to all our tools and resources in our career database, they will have access to internship and job postings. Students can also make individual appointments with an advisor to seek assistance in developing their career self-marketing plans, having their résumés and cover letters critiqued, and general career counseling. The only requirements are that students must (a) have a major in Business and be fully admitted into the College of Business as a junior, senior, or master’s level student or (b) be an alumni with a degree from the College of Business.
We are located in the College of Business Complex, CBC 121, in the Modesto Maidique Campus.

Career Events

The Résumé and Interview Skills Enhancement Program, also known as RISE, is an experiential interviewing and resume critique program. Interviews and critiques are conducted by employers on campus in the CMS interview rooms. It addresses employer feedback on the behavioral interviewing skills and résumé quality of students and alumni in the College of Business. It also provides valuable networking opportunities for students and alumni.
In addition to these activities, other Networking Events may be scheduled. In order to participate in all these events, students must be registered in the CBA Career Link database.
