John Michailidis

John, a 2021 MSIRE graduate and recipient of the program’s “Director’s Award – In Recognition of Outstanding Performance and Contribution,” has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Juris Doctor degree from the Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago – he is a licensed attorney. As a young man, “Sergeant Michailidis” served as a Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Warfare Specialist, and paratrooper with the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne. Having a career spanning 30+ years as a broker, property manager, investor, author, educator, mentor, and coach, he actively works with those interested in fortifying their futures, preserving their assets, and leaving a legacy that lasts.

At its essence, John is a “problem solver” and “fixer” – he listens to clients, fleshes out core issues, envisions action plans, and orchestrates favorable outcomes. John currently operates two real estate business. He is the founder and leader of the Prosperity Group, a Venice FL based residential real estate team focused on extricating owners from their most vexing real estate issues. The team’s motto, “Sell with Assurance, Buy with Confidence, Be Happy,” sums up their mission to counsel and guide each individual client to create solutions based on their personal wants and needs.

He also owns Sarasota FL based, Real Property Management of Sarasota & Manatee, which provides professional residential leasing and management services for mostly out-of-state/out-ofcountry owners who “just want to hand over the keys” with the assurance and confidence that their properties will be leased, managed, and maintained to the highest industry standards.

First obtaining his real estate license in 1989, he has filled various roles including: residential and commercial sales agent, property manager, broker of record, independent brokerage owner, state licensing instructor, and college lecturer.

Outside achievements include licensed pilot, Certified Zig Ziglar Trainer, Certified John Maxwell Trainer, Certified D.I.S.C. Trainer, and Past President – Sarasota/Manatee Chapter, National Association of Residential Property Managers.

John has authored several books, including, “Beginner’s Guide to Building Wealth Buying Houses,” “Strategic Planning and Investing for Individuals,” and the soon to be released, “What Your Real Estate Agent Would Tell You If They Were Telling You the Truth.”

John resides in beautiful Venice, Florida with his darling wife Linda, Marlee Mae (the Jack Russel terrier) and Kitty Kat (the cat).
