Description

Audio/Visual support and other related equipment is available in select rooms based on the room infrastructure and schedule of events. To help our team deliver your request, please complete our Event Technology and Support Request Form.

This equipment is available to FIU faculty, FIU staff, and external individuals who have reserved a room in 25Live. Equipment is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Additional costs may apply in the event that the requester is not a member of the CoB Faculty/Staff and/or from a student organization.

Procedures

  • Equipment requests are made through the Event Technology and Support Request Form.
  • Due to scheduling, supply and logistics, orders must be submitted ten (10) business days prior to the event or equipment need. This will allow orders to be processed properly. Instructional and Event Support reserve the right to deny requests that do not meet the aforementioned procedure.
  • An automated email is generated confirming delivery of the request.
  • A member of the Events team will contact the requester within two (2) business days of the initial request via email, confirming the event has been scheduled and all requirements are accounted for.
  • Once the event has been scheduled, a confirmation will be sent via email with the request details.
