Walumbwa named to Influential Leadership Scholars list

(August 22, 2018) Fred O. Walumbwa, associate professor in the Department of International Business, has been named one of the most Influential Leadership Scholars between 1990 and 2017 in a recent issue of Leadership Quarterly. He has authored or co-authored over 90 academic technical reports, book chapters, and research papers in a wide range of prestigious journals in business, management, and psychology. He co-authored the first ever theory-based measure of authentic leadership behavior (the Authentic Leadership Questionnaire) tied to the conceptualization of authentic leadership.
Walumbwa has extensive consulting experience in several diverse organizations in Africa, Asia, Australia, and the United States. Walumbwa was also recently recognized as one of the top 2% most influential authors in Industrial and Organizational Psychology (IOP) globally.
