MIB Faculty Director Fainshmidt honored as Young Scholar at AIB conference.

(July 10, 2019) Stav Fainshmidt, assistant professor in the Department of International Business and faculty director of the Master of International Business program, received the Alan M. Rugman Young Scholar Award at the Academy of International Business Annual Meeting in Copenhagen, June 24-27, 2019. Fainshmidt won the award with co-authors Daniel Andrews, a PhD student in the college’s Department of International Business, and José Maurício Galli Geleilate, who received his PhD at FIU Business and is now assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, for the paper “Contingencies to the Subsidiary Autonomy-Subsidiary Performance Relationship: A Meta-Analytic Review and Extension.”
 Formerly known as the Haynes Prize, the Rugman Award recognizes the best paper presented at the conference written by an author or authors under 40 years of age.
