Professional ActivitiesDr. Bianchi's research interests include auditing, corporate governance, social network analysis and private firms with an international flavor. His research has been published in Contemporary Accounting Research, European Accounting Review, and Journal of American Taxation Association. He previously worked as an assistant professor at the University of South Florida and the University of Miami, where he taught cost accounting and intermediate accounting. Before that, he taught international accounting at the IE Business School in Spain and Bocconi University in Italy. He is the recipient of the business school's Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award and the Provost's Research Award in Business and Social Sciences, both from the University of Miami. Before joining academia, he worked in some accounting firms in Milan. He is licensed Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor in Italy. |
