Dean Li Joins International Advisory Council for Leading Business School in Portugal

(September 18, 2020) FIU Business Dean Joanne Li has been named a founding member of International Advisory Council for the ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management in Lisbon, Portugal. ISEG is the first Portuguese school of economics and management and is part of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa), the largest and top-ranked Portuguese university.

The new International Advisory Council has eight other founding members including Anne Hansen Câmara, executive board member of "Circuito do Estoril," the Portuguese publicly owned motorsport race track; Anne Giviskos, chief risk and compliance officer at Euronext in Paris; Colin Mayer, a professor and former dean at the University of Oxford's Said Business School; Eugenia Bieto Caubet, a professor and former dean at ESADE in Spain; Gilberto Jordan, the CEO of real estate and hotel firm Group Andre Jordan; Roberta Medina, executive vice president of Rock in Rio, one of the largest music festival franchises in the world; Wern-Yuen Tan, the CEO of PepsiCo Asia Pacific, Australia, New Zealand and China (APAC); and William Kistler, the chief executive at the Urban Innovation Network in London.

With approximately 50,000 students, ULisboa offers more than 400 degrees. ISEG’s masters in finance program is currently ranked No. 31 in the world by the Financial Times.
