Dean Li elected to Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

(October 14, 2020) FIU Business Dean Joanne Li has been elected to the Greater Miami Chamber Commerce’s 114th Board of Directors. She will be installed during a board retreat that will be held virtually on November 16. In her role, Dean Li will attend board meetings and assist in membership development, event sponsorships and strategy setting for the organization.

The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce is a voice for the South Florida business community and is committed to the advancement of the city. Founded in 1907 as the Miami Board of Trade, today’s chamber represents more than 400,000 member company employees. It is heralded for its legacy of leadership in economic development, and its commitment to improving the Miami-Dade community.

Last month, Dean Li was named a founding member of International Advisory Council for the ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management in Lisbon, Portugal. ISEG is the first Portuguese school of economics and management and is part of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa), the largest and top-ranked Portuguese university.
