Lean Six Sigma Green Belt International Certification ProgramFrequently Asked Questions
FIU Executive Education offers non-credit certificate programs to allow business professionals to enhance their professional development. Therefore, at the conclusion of our program, you will receive a certificate of completion from FIU Business. Our programs do not award college credits and may not be taken as a part of a current academic program in which you may be enrolled. The registration and payment for our programs are handled directly through our website. Any programs that are taken through our office will not appear on MyFIU, and will therefore, not appear on your transcript. In addition, you will not need to apply through the university as a whole and with an application fee.
Participants in our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program must have earned Lean or Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification prior to the start of the Green Belt program. The Yellow Belt certification does not need to be from FIU. If you already have a Yellow Belt certification issued by FIU Executive Education, we will have a copy of your certificate. If your Yellow Belt certification was issued from an organization or a different unit of FIU, we will request a copy of the certificate after you register. Aside from the Yellow Belt certification, there are no prerequisites regarding test scores, transcripts and GPA requirements.
You may register for this and all FIU Executive Education programs directly through our website, ExecEd.fiu.edu. There, you will see information about all our programs. To register, be sure to click on the specific program in which you want to register.
There is no fee to apply to the program. The only fee is to take the program.
