Payment Policy

Please be aware that payment is not mandatory at the time of registration. Just submit your application and your spot in the course will be reserved.

  • The total program cost can be paid in up to 3 installments: however it must be paid in full before the program begins. An invoice will be provided to you for your records.
  • Registrations close two weeks prior to the course beginning; if you register after this deadline, you must pay a $30 late registration fee.
  • Failure to make payment two weeks prior to the start of the course will result in being dropped from the course.

Withdrawal Policy

Due to costs associated with establishing, holding, and replacing participant slots, the following guidelines are implemented:

  • Refunds will be provided upon email request made to The cost of materials provided will be deducted from the refund.  
  • No refunds will be provided after the second session of the course. 
  • Once full payment is made, no refunds for discounts will be offered. However, you may request a credit if you wish to take another course with us.

Cancellation Policy

Participant Cancellation:

Because this program requires significant advance preparation, it is important that you contact us in a timely manner if you must cancel attendance.

Refund requests must be sent in writing at least 30 days prior to the event. Refunds will be charged a processing fee $200 USD. If you are unable to attend this program, we will accept an appropriate substitute participant up until 30 business days before the start of the program.

Cancellations or substitute participants received 14 to 30 days before the start date of the program will be subject to a payment of 50 percent of the program fee.  Any cancellation of participant substitution received within 14 days of the start date of the program will be subject to full payment of the program fee.

Notification of all cancellations or substitutions should be made in writing.

Institution Cancellation:

In the event that the program needs to be postponed, FIU College of Business Office of Executive and Professional Education will provide a full refund of the paid program fees.

Participants that have paid program fees in full will be eligible to receive reimbursement of non-Refundable expenses incurred as a result of the program postponement.
