Also, you’ll learn about process improvement, while at the same time earning a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

How it Works
How do I register in a mastery program?
You can register for a mastery certificate program from the mastery certificate home page on this website. Once you register, you will have access to the mastery certificate program participants page, where you can register for each course in the program individually and on your own schedule.
What is the cost of a mastery program?
The mastery program allows learners to build depth of knowledge and take multiple courses at a cost savings. When you register in a mastery program and pay an application fee of $350, you then will be able to register for the courses in the program at a special reduced price. The combined savings from the courses in the program will add up to more than the $350 mastery application fee.
Program Duration
You will have up to 18 months to complete all the courses in the mastery certificate program. The courses vary in length and modality. Some are virtual, instructor-led courses with set session schedules. Others are fully online, self-paced with approximately four months of online access. Please see each course description in the Topics section to learn more about each course. Because participants can take multiple courses at the same time if they wish, it is possible to complete the program within a few months. If an emergency or extenuating circumstances prevent you from completing all the courses within 18 months, you may contact the program coordinator or FIU Executive Education at fiuexeced@fiu.edu to request re-enrollment. A re-enrollment fee will apply.

Suggested Schedule and Timeline
You may take courses within the mastery certificate program in any order you choose. You also may take as many courses simultaneously as you choose. To earn your mastery certificate in 12 months, we recommend the following schedule:

- Prioritize taking the virtual, instructor-led courses first, as these courses have limited availability. Fill the time in between instructor-led courses with self-paced courses.
- The suggested schedule above may vary depending on your start date and individual pace. To earn the mastery certificate, learners will have a maximum of 18 months to complete all courses within the program.
