WHAT WE DO

The Network/IT User Support Group of the Technology Center offers a variety of tools to increase your effectiveness on the job as faculty and staff members. Some of it’s main functions include:

  • Provide the CBA Faculty & Staff with technical support.
  • Perform initial maintenance/configuration of system hardware and software to meet College standards.
  • Diagnose system hardware/software operation problems and perform corrective procedures to restore it to operational standards.
  • Carry out the distribution of new computers within the CBA and providing initial training in their operation to users.
  • Periodic data backup and archival duties.
  • Ensure that our servers are secure and that the resources it provides add value to the College’s employees in executing their responsibilities.
  • Provide instruction/tutorials as needed.
  • Carry out the purchasing of all computer equipment and peripherals for the College.
