Overview
The college’s Chapman Graduate School of Business has helped create a unique network of business schools from around the world that promotes international business education by enabling students to experience two completely different academic and cultural environments while earning two complementary degrees.
The Dual Degree Program is based on a reciprocal agreement between member schools that recognizes credits from one school’s program into the other one. Students in the Dual Degree Program obtain the Master of International Business (MIB) degree from the Chapman Graduate School of Business while earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from their home institutions.
The Dual Degree Program offers many advantages to students, ranging from the breadth of their education to the convenience and value the partnerships provide. Participating students earn their two degrees in less time than it would take to do so sequentially and without concern for having to integrate curricula on their own.
Applicants from partner schools normally complete one year towards their MBA degree at their home institutions first and then attend the MIB program at the Chapman School for two semesters to complete both degrees. Chapman School students begin their studies in our MIB program and then transfer to a partner institution to complete their requirements for the MBA degree. Read more.
The Dual Degree Program network also fosters academic exchanges, collaborative research projects, joint career service activities, case competitions, executive education, and other similar activities.
