Get ready to be challenged.
The Howard J. Leonhardt New Venture Challenge 2005 is just around the corner. The event provides a great opportunity for undergraduates and graduates to develop a business plan, sharpen their presentation skills, experience team-building, and get feedback from leading business professionals on their ideas. Plus, the prize money is great-first prize for each team's company is $10,000 cash along with $5,000 in in-kind contributions. Runners-up get $2,500 cash. To help prepare, you can take Business Plan Development (undergraduate) and Advanced Business Plan Development (graduate).
You'll need to get your application in by February 4, 2005, and submit the business plan by April 14, 2005. Winners will be announced at the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame Luncheon and Induction Ceremony to be held on May 12, 2005 .
