IMPORTANT DATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Spring Recruiting Season Deadlines

Graduating in the Spring? The Spring recruiting season is on the way!  Here is a timeline that may be helpful for you.

• Begin NOW - Begin to review job announcements on Golden Panther Services (GPS).  While many of the Spring job announcements do not begin until later in December or January, some of them have already begun.
• December - Begin to construct your resume and cover letters.  Make an early appointment with Career Services to assist you if necessary.
• Early January - Make last improvements to your resume; upload your resume to GPS if you have not done so already.
• Mid January - Check to make sure you have applied to all of the positions in which you are interested and continue to check for new postings.
• Late Jan/Early Feb - Prepare for career fairs and on-campus interviews.  Make sure you know how to dress, and brush up on your interviewing skills.
• February 15th - CAREER FAIR - This is your one chance to meet all of the recruiters in one place and learn about new companies.  Many recruiters conduct formal or informal interviews at the fair. 
• February 16th - Early April - On-campus interviews with recruiters you met at Career Fair.
