Business students take advantage of alumni's night of Latin rhythm.

Future alumni and friends answered the always-open invitation to share festivities with the Business Alumni Chapter. Happy to be at Salsa Night were (from left) Leyanis Hernandez, Cheryl Gomez, receptionist for the Executive Dean; Cristy Jaramillo, coordinator of Alumni and Partner Relations; Andrea Rad, student assistant to senior staffer James R. Bussey; and Kristina Chavez, senior fiscal assistant for the College.
With a one-two-three, the evening's dance lessons were underway as the Business Alumni Chapter and the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) hosted Salsa Night at the Renaissance Hotel in the Gables on July 23. Members of the Salsa Racing Dance Studio were on hand for free demonstrations and lessons. Nelson Vallin (BA '99), the Chapter's vice president of programming, empowered the enthusiastic crowd with step-by-step basics, then opened the floor and the party began. Missed Salsa Night? The Business Alumni Chapter has an array of events planned for coming months. Visit the events calendar at the Chapter's web site.
