Rome

Would you like to take in another culture-and a delicious supply of pasta while you're at it? If this sounds appetizing, consider the upcoming study abroad program in Rome: a city of history, art, and of course, food. Even though they're short, the study abroad offerings organized by the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) provide much more than a tourist experience. You'll also put in class time, getting to study business concepts in a completely new context. And, you'll get to visit a local company, giving you the opportunity to learn firsthand how business operates in another country. The trip to Rome runs from December 27, 2004 through January 8, 2005 . Students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, so visit http://www.fiu.edu/~ciber/rome.html pronto to learn more.

Students have also recently traveled to Paris, Spain , and Central Europe. You can get details about what these opportunities have entailed, along with exciting information about other CIBER opportunities, at http://www.fiu.edu/~ciber/.
