Career Management Services office helps students position themselves for success.
As a highly qualified student with a degree, you may still find intense competition for your
dream job. That's where the Career Management Services office comes in. The staff offers a wide range of services
and information designed to support your efforts to launch your career. While it focuses on graduate students
seeking full-time employment, it works closely with the FIU Career Services unit as well to provide undergraduates
with the help they might need.
You can sharpen your presentation through workshops on resume preparation, acing the interview,
job search strategies, and effective networking. And you can clarify your objectives by taking advantage of self
assessment tools and individual advising. In addition to offering such services directly to you, the office
constantly develops relationships with employers so that when they have opportunities-internship and permanent
positions-they'll think of FIU.
