General Information:
Undergraduate scholarships are designated for qualified students seeking their Bachelor’s Degree in the College of Business Administration. Scholarship applications will be available to download during application period, beginning January 8, 2007 through April 16, 2007. Specific selection criteria and award amounts vary per scholarship. See Below:
Non-resident partial tuition waivers
Tuition waivers are designated for undergraduate non-resident business
students who have not been awarded tuition waivers from other university sources and are paying non-resident fees. Selection is based primarily on academic merit. International students are eligible.
AccuBanker Scholarship
A scholarship is available for one student that meets the following criteria:
- Full-time undergraduate student
- Majoring in Business
- Minimum 3.3 GPA
- Florida Resident who has lived in a foreign country at some point
- Community Service
- Must have completed one of the following courses:
- GEB 4113, MAN 4151, MAN 4301, MAN 4602, FIN 4345, or MAN 4802.

This scholarship is available for one student that meets the following criteria:
- Full-time undergraduate student
- Majoring in Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA

Business Ethics Scholarships
Several $2500- $3000 scholarships are available for students that meet the following requirements:
- Undergraduate student, Full-time preferred
- Must have completed or be enrolled in one of the following classes: MAN 4701C (Business in Society), MAN 4065 (Business Ethics), MAN 4064 (Crisis Management) or MAN 4711 (Business Community Leadership)
- Documented community service
- Must demonstrate financial need per FAFSA form
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Several $1000-$2,000 scholarships is available to students that meet the following criteria:
- Undergraduate student
- Enrolled in the Accounting, Finance, or Management Masters Program
- Minimum 3.0 GPA

- Junior or higher status, majoring in Accounting
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must live or work in Broward County
- Recipient will be chosen based on academic achievement, consideration to extracurricular activities, including employment or service in the accounting profession.

This $1500 scholarship is available to students that meet the following criteria:
- Undergraduate student in Insurance/Marketing program
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Financially needy per FAFSA form

- Undergraduate student in Accounting, entering their senior year

This $1500- $3000 scholarship is available to students that meet the following criteria:
- Undergraduate student in Business
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Preference will be given to Marketing students
- Must have taken courses in the Biscayne Bay Campus.

William G. McGowan Scholarship
This scholarship is available to one student that meets the following criteria:
- Undergraduate student
- Junior or Senior standing
- Must submit an essay of 1,000 words or more on the contributions of William G. McGowan to today’s business world in general, and to the telecommunications field in particular
- Must submit an essay (no word count minimum) that clearly demonstrates the student’s potential and aspirations to transfer their academic knowledge into today’s business world
- Note: essays must be in standard American Psychological Association (APA) format, with a minimum of four references cited. The essays should be submitted electronically and in printed copy
- Must demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Involved in academic, campus and community activities.
- Have entrepreneurial potential
- Recommended by at least one member of the College of Business faculty
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
- Preference will be given to Non resident, residents may apply
**This scholarship shall not exceed the award amount of $18,000. It is to cover the costs of basic tuition alone and may not exceed total tuition amount.
