Professional BBA Weekend

The top-ranked Landon Undergraduate School of Business’ Professional BBA Weekend program is offered at Modesto A. Maidique Campus in Miami, Florida.

Our Professional BBA Weekend is a part-time (9 credit persession), alternative, accelerated BBA for working professionals.

Class meetings generally combine a standard lecture format with case studies, classroom exercises, group/team work and individual assignments. Information technology is incorporated as a learning and business tool to provide you with hands-on experience.

In our Professional BBA Weekend program, you will complete required 54 upper division credit hours during six 12-week sessions of Saturday classes. You will take three courses in each session and two additional electives to complete the 60 credits. Saturday sessions start at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 1:00 p.m. Except Session 4 where classes will be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during 10 Saturdays.

Policies

Because the Professional BBA program is concentrated, attendance at all class sessions is mandatory. If you fail to attend classes more than three times during any session, you will be withdrawn from the program. Students who fail to attend for three consecutive days in any session without permission may also be withdrawn from the program.

If you want to take a required course in the regular undergraduate program, you must obtain the permission of the Professional BBA program director. Students wanting to attend a study abroad course can do so only with the permission of the director. Only one such course will be credited to the student's program of study.

If it becomes necessary for you to drop out of the Professional BBA program, or if the program itself is discontinued, you will have the option to transfer credits to the regular Bachelor of Business Administration program.
