College of Business awards nearly 1,000 degrees at FIU commencement.
Nearly 1,000 students in FIU’s College of Business were awarded degrees at Commencement ceremonies on December 15, 2015.
President Mark B. Rosenberg welcomed the graduates and their family and friends to two ceremonies at the U.S. Century Bank Arena, located at FIU’s Modesto A. Maidique Campus. Dean David R. Klock presented the diplomas.
FIU students connect with recruiters and executives at fall career fair.
Companies are thinking outside the box when it comes to recruiting prospective interns and employees. It’s no longer about a booth and one or two local representatives. FIU’s fall career fair showcased some of those new trends.
Held October 2 at the FIU Arena, this year’s second career fair drew 150 employers and 1,700 students across a broad spectrum of majors, including the College of Business.
The lineup included private industry; public, educational, and non-profit organizations; local government, federal government, law enforcement, and military.
At International Studies fair, students learn about FIU College of Business program options at over 40 universities worldwide.
As they prepare for adventures in the global business world, undergraduate and graduate students at Florida International University’s (FIU) College of Business received an in-depth look at the college’s international programs and how to apply.
"One of the reasons for the fair is to let students know that studying abroad is an option,” said Jennifer Hilton Montero, director of the COB’s Office of International Affairs & Projects. "We found that a lot of them didn’t know much about the programs."
