Career Management Services (CMS) helps you gain the knowledge, skills and savvy to be a competitive force in today's challenging job market.

CMS provides extensive services to you, as a fully admitted College of Business student or alumni, to help you be an active participant in the continuing development, evaluation, and implementation of your personal career plans. We provide you with self-assessment tools, individual student advising, resume referral, and on-campus interviews for internships and permanent employment opportunities.

Our workshop offerings include resume preparation, acing the interview, job search strategies and effective networking.

One of our key objective with employers to help fulfill their employment goals, whether for internships or permanent positions and to make the College of Business at FIU their first choice for hiring.

Our office works closely with the university's centralized Career Services office to coordinate on-campus interviews, career fairs, and/or other career development related activities.

  > According to Career Services' survey data, College of Business Administration graduates are a sought-after group. In the Fall 2002/Spring 2003 period, nearly 10 percent of working students with a BBA degree were in jobs that earned them $50,000 or more, with an additional 15 percent of graduates earning in the $40,000-$50,000 range. Graduates from the college captured positions in accounting, finance, international business, management, marketing, MIS, and human resources across every imaginable industry and in government.
