Degree requirements

This program offers an integrated curriculum that blends in-class and online teaching; individual, student tailored paths; group work; interactivity; an international focus, and a shared responsibility for learning.

Ten business core courses , which are required of all undergraduate business students in the college, provide a broad background in business theory and practice.

In addition to the business core courses, the BBA+ Sunrise program includes seven courses in the management major. You’re required to take the following three courses:

Plus, one of the following electives:

Three additional 4000 level management courses complete the management major requirements. The remaining three courses will be general upper division business electives.

Successful completion of the BBA+ Sunrise program depends on compliance with the college's academic standards as well as the policies of the BBA+ program.

Weeky Schedules

As a student in the BBA+ Sunrise program, you will complete the required 60 credit hours during six 12-week sessions of early morning classes and online course work. Usually, there is a one-week break in between each session. You will take three courses in each session. Classes are on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday of every week from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

A typical week looks like this:

    Cohort 1
    Monday - 1st class 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
    Wednesday - 2nd class 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
    Thursday - 3rd class 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Generally, your class meetings combine a standard lecture with case studies, classroom exercises, group/team work, and individual assignments. These classes also enable you to acquire hands-on experience with information technology—both as a learning and as a business tool.
