The GMAT Math Workshop
A companion course for students in the FIU GMAT Prep Class
The GMAT Math Workshop is designed to help students become more fully prepared for both the GMAT Class and the actual GMAT Test. The GMAT Math Workshop addresses the 2 fundamental topics not included in GMAT Prep Class: Basic Math Refresher and Simulated Timed Practice Testing.
Your enrollment in The GMAT Workshop includes:
A 3-hour Fundamentals of Mathematics Review Class
Taught by Diana Greenwell, the GMAT Prep Class Instructor, this refresher class covers the math subject areas that are tested on the GMAT. The relevant math concepts from Arithmetic, Algebra & Geometry are fully explained and practice problems are demonstrated during this interactive class, which will be held on FIU’s University Park Campus 6 times this year.
Math Review Folder with Practice Problems
This outline steps you through all the topics covered in the Fundamentals of Mathematics Review Class. It is your reference to take with you to reinforce the math concepts. Each topic is accompanied by a selection of problems for your practice.
1 Timed Simulated GMAT
With your enrollment, you are automatically entitled to take a full-length, computer adaptive GMAT in the testing lab at the offices of your instructor, Diana Greenwell. This test offers you an instant score result and, if desired, will include the Essay portion of the GMAT, which will be hand-graded for an indicative score. This test must be scheduled in advance directly with the instructor and must be taken within 60 days of participation in the Fundamentals of Math Review Class.
