Covers basic resume writing technique, including best practices for format and content. PLEASE BRING A COPY OF YOUR RESUME TO THIS WORKSHOP. It is recommended that you attend the Resume Writing for Business Students Workshop prior to attending this workshop.

Cover Letters and Writing for Business
Provides an overview of how to write professional letters utilized in the job search process including cover letters, thank you letters, accept/decline letters, and informational interview/networking letters.

CareerBeam Basics for Business Students
Learn how to use CareerBeam's job boards and databases in your CBA Career Link account to research companies and gain a competitive edge.

Interview Skills
Learn basic interview skill technique relative to behavioral based interviews. Discusses interview preparation, appropriate dress, common questions, as well as do's and don'ts in the interview process.

InterviewStream Workshop for Business Students
Learn how to use InterviewStream in CBA Career Link to practice your interviewing skills.

Conducting Yourself in a Business Setting
Attendance at this workshop is a PREREQUISITE for those who wish to attend the Undergraduate Etiquette Dinner on October 20, 2009. This workshop will prepare individuals to make a good first impression and clarify behavioral expectations in a business setting.

Networking for Business Students
Learn how to determine who is in your network and how to set up meetings with people you would like to get more information from.  Practice introducing yourself and letting someone know why you want to talk to them about your career search.

Salary Negotiation for Business Students
An overview of how to approach career fair with a strategy. Discusses career fair preparation, appropriate dress, developing your 30 second elevator speech, as well as do's and don'ts in the process of preparing for, attending, and following up after the fair.
