What is Career Management Services (CMS)?

Career Management Services (CMS) provides you, as graduate business students and alumni, with information about how to become active participants in your own continuing development and evaluation and about how to initiate and implement effective career plans. We offer you high-quality, accessible, extensive, and well-coordinated services and information designed to culminate in the best opportunities for satisfying your career employment and advancement goals.

Where is Career Management Services (CMS) located? And, what are the office hours?

We are located in Suite 224 of the Management Advanced Research Center (MARC) on the University Park campus. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Appointments are recommended.

What types of services and workshops does the office provide?

A.

We offer a range of services. For example, our workshops cover topics on building resumes that get noticed, acing the interview, developing effective job-search strategies, and forming a speakers bureau. Our services include self-assessment, career advising, resume review and referral, an internship program, a business career expo, and on-campus recruiting.
