Master of International Business Application Process

Application Deadlines:

Fall 2009 (August) *Please note that the application deadline for international students has been extended*
July 1

Last day to submit an online application.
July 17

Last day for international applicants to submit all supporting academic and financial credentials.
July 31

Last day for domestic applicants to submit all supporting academic credentials.
   
To begin in the Spring Term (January)
September 1   Last day for all students to submit an online application.
October 1 Last day for international applicants to submit all supporting academic credentials and appropriate test scores.  Financial documents should also be submitted by this date.
October 31 Last day for U.S. applicants to submit all supporting academic credentials and appropriate test scores. 
   
To begin in the Summer Term (May)
February 1 Last day for all students to submit an online application.
March 1 Last day for international applicants to submit all supporting academic credentials and appropriate test scores.  Financial documents should also be submitted by this date.
March 30 Last day for U.S. applicants to submit all supporting academic credentials and appropriate test scores.

To apply:

  1. Complete the online graduate programs admissions form.  Please remember to select the program name (Master’s-International Business) from the pull-down menu listing all FIU graduate programs in the online admission form. Selecting an erroneous program name may jeopardize timely admission.
  2. Have official transcripts, proof of degree, relevant test scores, and other documentation required and as described under Admission Requirements sent to the MIB program.
  3. Submit a statement of purpose—A one-page essay describing your professional goals and reasons for pursuing a master's degree at Florida International University.
  4. Submit a current resume of your professional experience.
