MSHRM - Jamaica Additional Requirements and Application Checklist

The program admits students every fall-term.

To be eligible for admission to the MSHRM—Jamaica program, you must:

• meet the general university requirements for admission to a graduate degree program as described in our general requirements
• have 5 or more years of professional experience, of which at least 2 years should be in the HR field
• submit a current resume of professional experiences
• submit two letters of recommendation from employers, faculty or professional associates. There is not specific format or form required
• submit a statement of purpose: a two-page essay describing your professional goals and reasons for pursuing a masters degree
• have access to a computer or laptop

Please remember to select the program code "MGMT10MS" from the pull-down menu listing all FIU graduate programs in the online admission form. Selecting an erroneous program code may jeopardize timely admission.

Application Procedure

• your graduate application online with $30 application fee
• Official transcripts from every college and university attended should be sent directly from the graduate admission office of each college or university in a university-sealed, stamped envelope
• submit an updated resume and statement of educational goals and contributions
