The program admits students every fall term.

To be eligible for admission to the EMBA Jamaica program, you must

  • meet the general university requirements for admission to a graduate degree program as described in our general requirements
  • have 5 or more years of managerial experience
  • obtain two letters of recommendation from either faculty members at their undergraduate institution, professional supervisors or business associates
  • submit a statement of purpose—a one-page essay describing your professional goals and reasons for pursuing a master's degree
  • have a computer or laptop

Please remember to select the program code "BADM11MBA" from the pull-down menu listing all FIU graduate programs in the online admission form. Selecting an erroneous program code may jeopardize timely admission.

Application Procedure

  • your graduate Application online with $30 application fee.
  • Official transcripts from every college and university attended should be sent directly from the graduate admission office of each college or university in a university-sealed, stamped envelope
  • submit an updated resume and statement of educational goals and contributions
