Jerome Bain Real Estate Institute

Created through a gift of $500,000 from the Educational Foundation of the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches, the Institute bears the name of Jerome Bain-a graduate of Florida International University (FIU) and former president of the Association.

The Institute's goal is to be a premier University-based real estate educational and research center, known for its exceptional expertise in international real estate transactions.

Real Estate Education

We coordinate a real estate major for undergraduate students and sponsor numerous seminars, symposia, and conferences on real estate subjects for working professionals. We offer a Master of Science in International Real Estate program.  Our goal is to insure that our programs reflect the most up-to-date theories and best practice in real estate.

Real Estate Research and Outreach

Our research is both theoretical and applied, with a strong focus on solving current industry problems. We maintain a real estate market data repository as a resource for our teaching and research and for the professional real estate community. We also monitor and analyze the data and publish market information reports from time to time.

We build and maintain extensive industry contacts, beginning with our advisory board of leading real estate professionals in South Florida and extending to industry and academic communities around the world.
