Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. Sonia Díaz-Del Oro is a Human Resources professional with over 12 years of experience. While she’s held various roles in the field, her primary area of focus is in leadership and organization development. She has spent most of her career in South Florida and has done extensive work in various countries throughout Latin America. Sonia currently leads the Corporate Learning & Organization Development for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd in Miami.
Sonia has her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Florida International University (FIU) and also holds a certificate in Training & Development from FIU. She joined Royal Caribbean in April 2001. Prior to joining Royal Caribbean, Sonia held management positions at Levi Strauss & Co., one of the world’s largest brand-name apparel marketers; and John Alden Financial Corporation, a billion dollar insurance provider that employed over 4000 employees.
