Jose Hernandez-Solaun      Member since 2006
Vice President
General Electric Capital Solutions

Hernandez-Solaun began his career with GE in Danbury, Connecticut in the Portfolio Management Group; from there he was promoted to an Associate Sales Representative in Atlanta, Georgia. He currently holds the position of Vice-President with GE. He provides financial solutions to South Florida companies, and works with CFOs and business owners in order to best capitalize their businesses.

Jose is a '98 BBA graduate of FIU and also has an MBA from The University of Miami. He remains involved with his fraternity-Pi Kappa Alpha, serving as a Chapter Advisor at Emory University and currently active with FIU alumni chapter. Additionally, he is a volunteer of GE's philanthropic organization-ELFUN. Jose is active within his community in organizations such as The Latin Builders.  Currently he works with the FIU Alumni Circle as a member of the Business Readiness Committee.
