Affinity Groups

We have alumni groups associated with the chapter that are focused on particular professional interests or centered in a particular geographic area.

Real Estate Alumni Affinity Council
Launched in May 2005 as an official sub-chapter of the Business Alumni Chapter, this successful group will offer events and programs to support the real estate programs and students in the College of Business Administration.

School of Accounting Alumni Affinity Council

A Steering Committee led by co-chairs is currently in place. This group of Accounting alumni meet quarterly to discuss the purpose of the Council, and its future activities in support of and in partnership with the School of Accounting within the College of Business Administration. The group plans to officially launch in May of 2008 with a reunion of Accounting alumni at the new College of Business Complex.

Jamaica Business Alumni Chapter
Our first international alumni chapter opened in Jamaica in January, 2004 with a ceremony in Kingston attended by more than 100 guests. The chapter is working to build programs similar to those of the home chapter in areas including mentoring, internships, recruiting and program development.
