PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Dr. Newburry’s research has appeared in numerous publications, including the Journal of International Business Studies, International Business Review, and the International Journal of Human Resource Management. He also has won best paper awards from the European International Business Academy (EIBA), and the Academy of Management.

Dr. Newburry has participated in the 2005 Delphi Study on the Future of International Business Research, the Academy of International Business Faculty Consortium, the Academy of Management International Management Division Faculty Consortium, and received, among others, a Fellowship with China Europe International Business School’s (CEIBS) Center for Emerging Market Strategy (CEMS) in Shanghai, 2005.

His teaching interests include business policy and strategy, international management, and environmental/social issues relating to the previous areas of specialization.
