PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Dr. Taylor’s research has been published in
Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Making, Journal of Advertising
Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Sciences,  Marketing Letters, Journal of Services Marketing, Journal of Marketing Education,
and other publications. She has also presented her research at numerous conferences; most recently, "The Impact of Training on Negotiator Confidence" presented at the 2004 Academy for Business Disciplines Conference in Ft.  Myers, Florida.

Dr. Taylor has received various teaching awards including the 2002 University Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, Teaching Incentive Performance Award (1999) and a University President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching (1997). She recently served as a Teaching Fellow in the Honors College at FIU (2003-2006), where she team-taught a course on  “Ideas of Origins and Origins of Ideas” with faculty from across the university, and previously served as the Barsky-Greenstein Professor  (2000-2002) to promote teaching with the case method.

Dr. Taylor is a member of the Society for Consumer Psychology, Association for Consumer Research, American Marketing Association, the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences,and the Society for Judgment and Decision Making. She has also been extremely active in working with student organizations such as the American Marketing Association and Alpha Kappa Psi, the international business fraternity, as well as mentoring students through the Women’s Center’s Mentoring Partnerships Project and MentorNet, an electronic mentoring project for women in the sciences, engineering, and business.
