The college’s Civic Engagement Initiative, which is coordinated by Dr. Robert Hogner, associate professor of management and international business, is engaged in several major projects that provide outreach opportunities to our students and faculty and highlight the importance of civic engagement—a key way in which the college shares its knowledge, expertise, technology, and resources with the community.

Civic engagement opportunities are integrated into the curriculum in the BBA+ program, management, accounting, and real estate courses, and in Service Learning course which is the only business school course in the country dedicated entirely to this subject.

Our students are actively involved with the community, both in South Florida and abroad (Thailand, Nicaragua) through:
